In stock items ship the next business day,
all other items items ship within 2 weeks and 3-4 weeks for custom ordered pieces. Expect longer shipping time for furniture
pieces.
Sophisticated Pup always attempts to estimate the longest
possible time it would take to ship your items, therefore nearly all of the items we ship will be shipped sooner than expected.
Please allow 1 - 5 business days for delivery time once your item has shipped.
Shipping and Handling Costs for all items other than beds and furniture are determined according
to the total cost of your order. The following chart displays the amount that will be added for all orders placed within the
48 contiguous states.
Furniture and Bed Shipping Costs
Shipping and Handling Costs for all
beds and furniture may incur additional shipping charges. After placing your order for furniture or a bed, we will contact
you to let you know if there will be any additional shipping fees, and if so what they will be.
International Shipping and Handling Cost
Some International orders will require an additional shipping charge. If your
order requires an additional charge we will contact you to obtain your approval for the added amount.
**Please note: Additional charges may be accessed to international orders by your government, or shipping carriers for Taxes,
Tariffs, Duties, or Brokerage fees. We are not able to predict what these charges will be and responsibility for them will
be left up to the customer.**
International shipping will usually require additional shipping time.
Depending on the items that you order, shipping times can vary greatly.
Stock Availability
If
an item is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you immediately and inform you of the expected delivery date.
Damaged Items and Lost
Packages
If an item arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt. If the box appears damaged upon receipt, do not
sign for it and it will be returned to us. We will send a replacement or credit you for the item.
Due to abuse, you must contact us within 45 days of order placement, if your
item has not arrived. We will not be held responsible for notifications after that time.
Sophisticated Pup always guarantees your satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return it
to us in its original unused condition within 14 days of receipt for a merchandise exchange or return. Items returned after
14 days or in used condition will not be exchanged or refunded.
In the case
of a return, you may receive a full refund of the purchase price (exceptions listed below). However, the refund will not include
the shipping and handling costs.
Return exception: Sorry we cannot accept returns on customized
items or furniture pieces.
Return Instructions
Please include a note (preferably on the packing slip), with RETURN or EXCHANGE written
on it. If you would like to exchange the item, please let us know what you would like to exchange the merchandise for. Ship
the unused item and the note to the address on the packing slip.
We are not
responsible for any returned packages lost in shipping. Please be advised that until there is proof that we have received
your merchandise, it is your property. For your protection, we suggest you send your return via Federal Express, UPS or by
US Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation for tracking purposes.
Items
returned through the U.S. Mail using only insurance without delivery confirmation can be lost in transit. Insurance by itself
does not provide proof of delivery. If an insured item becomes lost, it is the customers responsibility to file a claim with
the Post Office to recover their loss for their merchandise. Insurance with the post office is a transaction between the
individual and the United States Postal Service, and is not affiliated with Sophisticated Pup.
Please Note:
We
are not responsible for any damage that is caused by your dog to any of the merchandise. We cannot honor refunds or exchanges
for any merchandise that has been used, or is not in its original new condition. We are not responsible for any returned
packages lost in shipping.
Please supervise your
pet while using Sophisticated Pup products. Each consumer is responsible for determining the suitability of these products
for their individual situation. Consumer accepts all responsibility by purchasing and using our products.
We encourage you to measure your pet as accurately as possible. Shipping Charges for exchanged
orders are the responsibility of the customer. If additional charges are needed we will contact you for your permission to
charge your card for the additional shipping charges.
