The exterior of the coat is a warm red wool.  The coat is complimented with a hand-applied fabric applique flower & bird detail.  The collar gets a little attention with the detail of hand-applied satin ribbon and ric rac.  It has a light batting in the middle for a little extra warmth during those cold winter months and a warm striped cotton lining. A front and under the belly velcro closure makes it adjustable for a perfect fit.
